LOOK FOR US AT TRACTOR SUPPLY STORE ON 6TH STREET IN FAYETTEVILLE! On warm saturdays, we will be having adoption clinics there so come out and see your favorite animal! We will also be offering vaccinations for all of your cats and dogs for just the cost of the shot ($4-5 at Tractor Supply). Donations are welcome but not required.
HELP US HELP THE PETS! We have partnered with Pedigree and Purina animal foods to provide you with great starter kits and food with your new pet. IF YOU FEED YOUR ANIMAL PURINA PRO PLAN (Dog or Cat) KITTEN CHOW, CAT CHOW OR ANY OTHER PURINA PRODUCT, please take a moment to cut out the "weight circle" located near the top of the bag on the side and send them to us! These help us get discounts for food. Same goes for Pedigree... send us the UPC codes. We thank you!
FOSTER HOMES AND/OR DONATIONS NEEDED DESPERATLY! We keep getting more and more animals and need donations to get their shots and vet care. Email for more information or you can send via PayPal to pets_are_forever_rescue@cox.net. We are also in need of dog carriers, blankets, towels, toys, chew toys, etc. All donations are welcome!
After lots of soul searching and homeless pets, we decided to take the jump and start our own small rescue. Even tho we are small, we are dedicated to all the animals we rescue and hope that you are happy with your new family member! We are here to help anytime!

Out of state adopters are more than welcome! If we are asked to deliver an animal, we do request an additional donation to cover gas expenses (25 cents per mile) and of course, there is a limit to how far we can drive. And of course, you are always welcome to drive to us to meet them! 95% of our animals so far have been adopted out of state! Some of our dogs can now be shipped as well as long as they meet our guidelines:
1) We will not ship dogs to local areas (Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma)
2) Animals to be shipped must be over 10 lbs. Small dogs can travel accompanied on the airline by rescue staff only and all costs are at the adopters expense.
3) All airline rules regarding temperature, carriers, etc. must be followed. For more info, visit http://www.aacargo.com/shipping/animals.jhtml
4) Carriers, vet certification of ability to fly, shipping charges etc. are the financial responsibility of the adopting party.
5) Adopters are responsible for calling the airlines for fees schedules and to make arrangements for transport of the dog. American Airlines does not allow booking of the animal on the flight but will give you flight information so that we know what time we need to get there to get the animal on the flight. PLEASE NOTE: American Airlines will only allow two animals per flight. Please have a backup flight number available in the event that your animal cannot fly on your first choice. WE WILL ONLY SHIP DOGS VIA AMERICAN AIRLINES OUT OF XNA (Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport)
6) Animals to be shipped must be spayed/neutered before leaving our facility ($60 for spays, $50 for neuters) and microchipped ($20). These costs are at the adopters expense.
Dogs that meet the above guidelines can be shipped for $400 (Small dogs/Puppies... Larger dogs will have extra shipping costs). This price includes:

Small or Medium Sized Airline Approved Crate/Blanket for Comfort
Airplane Package (food dishes, crate pad, live animals sticker)

All shipping charges must be paid for in advance by PayPal.
Who We Are
We are a small foster home, not a large shelter. Its just me, my husband, and our four year old twins caring for the animals we can and helping them to find loving homes. All of our rescue animals are kept in the house with us and are made a part of our family. Everyone has their own kennel to sleep in and they all get time outside to play and use the restroom but are never left outside alone or for long periods of time. All of them are integrated in with our other dogs, cats, and children. We do our best to give everyone some one on one time but at the same time try not to become attached and try not to let the animals get attached to us. We want the animals to see this as a short visit not a forever home. We are always looking for volunteers to help us in our endeavour to be foster homes, please contact us if that sounds like a good job for you! Donations are always welcome as well! We do provide people looking for new homes for their animals courtesy ads on our site. Courtesy ads are done by the owners themselves so their adoption donations are at their discretion. If you have an animal you would like to list with us, please contact us!
Adopting a friend
Our animals info including adoption donations (ranging from $35 for cats and $75 - $300 for dogs) will be posted on each individual animals page. PLEASE REMEMBER: OUR FEES COVER OUR EXPENSES. We often have to pay to get these dogs out of puppy mill situations. Fees cover our expenses only, ie. gas, rescue fees (if any), vet visits, shots, worming, spay/neuter, etc.
DOGS THAT ARE REGISTERED WILL HAVE THEIR REGISTRY PAPERS HELD BY US UNTIL PROOF IS PROVIDED THAT THE DOG IS SPAYED OR NEUTERED.
We are in the process of filing for non-profit status as well. If you have any questions on a specific animal, please drop us a line and we will answer it! Adoption applications are available by emailing pets_are_forever_rescue@cox.net. Please leave us your contact info when emailing us so that we can give you a call.
Our animals are adopted on a first come basis... if you are the first APPROVED application we receive, then you get first dibs on the animal. *** PLEASE NOTE THAT HIGH PROFILE ANIMALS WILL REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OF 1/3 THE ADOPTION DONATION UNTIL THE ANIMAL IS PICKED UP IF YOU CANNOT PICK UP THE ANIMAL WITHIN A DAY OR TWO OF BEING APPROVED. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Please also keep in mind when choosing your pet that adoption donations, spay/neutering, microchipping, and all fees are non-refundable. Once you donate to us for a pet, we use that money to get other animals out of bad situations. We will replace your pet with another from our rescue within 48 hours however if your new pet does not work out.
